Busy Busy....

Hope everyone has been having a great summer! Here's what we've been up to..

• We spent Father's day weekend in MV relaxing...I actually got crafty again and made Shaun a book filled with pictures of him and Avery.
• While in MV, our dear family friend Kim offered to take some pictures of Avery. They turned out great, she is amazing with the camera, and Avery loves her (and not just because of the huge sucker she gave her, ha!) I'll post some of them soon, or you can see them on Kim's blog, or on my mom's. Thanks so much Kim, we love you!
• I've been enjoying spending my summer days at home with Avery. We've been having tea parties, cooking, and staying in our pj's longer than usual. We haven't played outside much because it's been so HOT!
• We bought Avery a little potty seat...she's shown a *little interest in the subject, and is able to tell us when she has gone in her diaper. We're not going to push it hard right now, but since I"m home this summer with her, I thought it would be a good time to introduce it. We shall see....
• We helped with our church's VBS this week. I helped with the 4 & 5 year olds, and boy did they wear us out! It was a lot of fun, and Avery really enjoyed her class as well.
• Avery and Macy have become nearly inseperable. She calls Macy "Puppy" and is always hugging and loving on her. Yesterday I caught her giving her a cup of tea. I think part of it is because was used to being around her friends everyday at Brook's house so Macy has now become her buddy!
• Shaun and I had a date day in Tyler. We went to a movie, had lunch at TGI Fridays (thanks mom for the gift card!), and did some shopping. I found some great summer sales for Avery and I. Thanks Dee Dee and PePaw for keeping Avery that day!
